Dental implants have become more and more popular over the years and, with today's technological advances, they are increasingly well accepted by patients.
Highly trained team and advanced technology
Our Dental Implant department is first-class. Placing implants is a very important procedure for us and for our patients, which is why we only use the best dental implant system in the world and guarantee our implants for all our patients.
Thanks to our specialists' extensive training and advanced technology, discomfort is controlled with the best anesthesia and sedation techniques, making the procedure comfortable and safe.
What are dental implants?
They replace one or several missing teeth to restore chewing function. The implant, made of biocompatible titanium, replaces the tooth root and fuses with the bone; a crown is then made for it. When several or all teeth are missing, implants can also hold a denture in place so it is no longer removable.
How do they work?
An implant has three parts: the post, placed in the bone and acting as an artificial root; the abutment, which connects the post to the tooth; and the crown, the visible part, customized to match your smile and bite. Before placing it we evaluate the bone to confirm you are a good candidate.
Healing usually takes four to six months, depending on the patient. With proper care and regular checkups, an implant can last for decades.
Benefits
- Help preserve bone: when a tooth is lost, the bone is no longer stimulated and gradually shrinks; an implant helps preserve it and maintain facial structure.
- Speak clearly: they don't slip or shift like some dentures.
- Comfort: they are fixed, so you can eat and speak normally without worrying about them coming loose.
“Getting my dental implants was a simple experience, with no discomfort.”
