We are a professional clinic of Dental Specialists committed to providing the best service and the highest quality treatment to promote our patients' oral health.

In 1942, Dr. Roberto Carrillo Lozano opened his practice serving the Monterrey community, becoming one of the pioneers in the country. His warm personality earned him the loyalty, trust and affection of his patients.

To bring the concept of comprehensive family dentistry to life, Dr. Roberto Carrillo González and his son, Dr. Roberto Carrillo Fuentevilla, partner with successful, pioneering dental specialists in different fields, creating the Dr. Roberto Carrillo y Asociados Dental Specialty Clinic.

We answer your questions

 

What are my options if I don't want my braces to show?

We offer several invisible orthodontic techniques: clear aligners and lingual orthodontics (braces behind the teeth). Another option is esthetic or clear braces, which are much less visible than conventional metal braces. Come talk to us and we'll help you find the best option.

What is the best age for orthodontics?

It depends on whether the problem is skeletal or dental. We recommend a first visit to an orthodontist at age 7, or as soon as parents or the dentist notice a problem.

How often should my child see the pediatric dentist?

A checkup at least every 6 months is recommended to prevent cavities and other problems. The pediatric dentist decides the frequency based on how well each child keeps their teeth clean.

How safe are dental X-rays?

The risks are very low. We use digital radiography, lead aprons with thyroid protection and high-speed X-rays to minimize radiation.

What are dental implants?

They replace one or more missing teeth. The implant, made of biocompatible titanium, replaces the tooth root and fuses with the bone; a crown is then made for it. Implants can also hold dentures in place so they are no longer removable.

What should I do if a permanent tooth is knocked out?

Act fast and stay calm: hold the tooth by the crown without touching the root, rinse it under running water without scrubbing, and try to put it back in place. If you can't, keep it moist in a glass of milk. Call us, ideally within 30 minutes.
